Testing on the route of the proposed N9/N10 Kilcullen–Waterford scheme: Contract 3, Prumplestown to Powerstown, revealed a cluster of small pits/post-holes and charcoal deposits, a possibly associated pit and a more isolated patch of burning. The cluster of features included a circular feature and a sherd of possible prehistoric pottery was retrieved from its fill.
