Six test-trenches were opened on the site of a proposed house site in Grove, Cuffesgrange. The development site was situated in the adjoining field to the ruined Grove church and graveyard. The features revealed, field drains, pertained to the post-medieval/modern period, which was confirmed by very sparse amounts of ceramic sherds found within the area. No other archaeological remains were uncovered.
