Six test-trenches were opened on the site of a proposed house in Grange Lower, Goresbridge. The development site was situated in the same field as a large enclosure. There is no evidence aboveground for the monument, although what was visible were its partial remains set within the western field boundary. No evidence of archaeological features or deposits was found in any of the trenches opened.
