Test-trenching took place of a greenfield site c. 1km to the north-west of Thomastown, in advance of a proposed residential development. Five trenches were excavated. The stratigraphy consisted of a mid-greyish-brown silty clay overlying a mid-orangey-brown silty clay subsoil with occasional small stone inclusions. There were no archaeological features or finds recorded.
