Testing was undertaken at Arthurstown Road/Turf Bog Lane, Porterstown, Co. Kildare, on 23 August 2005 prior to a proposed 1.8km road realignment. Seven trenches totalling 375m were mechanically investigated across the test area. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered during the course of this testing programme.
