Monitoring was undertaken at the site of a residential development at Kilkea Lodge Farm, Kilkea, Co. Kildare. The site, which is located to the immediate north of the village of Kilkea, is situated c. 180m to the north-west of the extent of the zone of archaeological potential associated with the deserted medieval settlement of Kilkea (SMR 37:17). All ground-reduction works required of the development were monitored and nothing of archaeological interest was uncovered.
