An assessment took place of two pipeline locations as part of the proposed water and sewage improvement scheme at Waterville, Co. Kerry. Systematic visual inspection and a magnetometry survey of the seabed/riverbed and the attendant foreshore/bank structures was undertaken at each impact zone. No archaeologically significant material was revealed within the immediate survey area at each location.
