An assessment with testing was undertaken in October 2005 on the site of a development which included a residential home, St Anne’s, said to have been built c. 1830. The site also abutted the zone of archaeological potential for a souterrain, SMR 29:118. Four long test-trenches were excavated across the site and no archaeological features were recorded.
