A development adjacent to the former Loreto Convent required pre-development test excavation. The site was previously part of the late 19th-century convent complex and included the garden, a chapel (to be retained) and ancillary buildings, including sheds (now levelled). The remains from the nuns’ graveyard on one side have been disinterred. Test excavation did not uncover any archaeological find or feature.
