Monitoring took place of soil-stripping for an access road to Ballyseedy Wood, near Tralee, as part of the works to open the wood to the general public. Monitoring of the northerly section of the road was undertaken and, following the uncovering of three pits and a possible linear feature requiring excavation, the licence was transferred to Frank Coyne, who continued the monitoring of the remainder of the road. The features exposed during monitoring were subsequently excavated under this licence by Frank Coyne (see No. 669 below).
