Testing took place of a proposed house site at Baile an Reannaig (Ballinrannig on earlier OS maps), Baile an Fheirtéaraigh. The site is c. 100m to the west of an ogham stone and the site of several other such stones, burials, houses, etc., found in the sand dunes in the 18th century (SMR 42:57). Four trenches were opened through the proposed development; nothing of archaeological significance was noted.
