Testing was carried out at the site of a proposed dwelling house in the townland of Ballinvoher, Co. Galway. The site is near a possible souterrain. The assessment involved the excavation of four trenches in the area of the proposed development. Testing failed to identify any archaeological features and it is likely that the souterrain is located south of the site, on the opposite side of the public road.
