This proposed single-house development was within 200m of a ringfort, St Lasser’s Well and Killesher Church, an early church site. Five test-trenches, each measuring 2m by 25m, were excavated on the part of the development site suggested for the location of the house footprint. The test-trenches were excavated using a mechanical digger equipped with a toothless sheugh bucket. No archaeological features or artefacts were uncovered.
