Monitoring was carried out on 11–17 January 2005 in advance of development of a greenfield site around the Pfizer Pharmaceutical Plant at Pottery Road, Dún Laoghaire.

A disused quarry was located at the northern portion of the site. Nothing of archaeological significance was identified as a result of monitoring at the proposed development site.
