There was no evidence for any significant archaeological features or deposits at this site. The initial stratigraphy was made up of infill rubble material, loose and shelving in composition. The underlying blue/black natural clay was severely contaminated, with extremely pungent foul water waste noted in both trenches. The paving remains in the south end of the site are post-medieval in date and are not of any significant archaeological value.
