The former National Museum building on Merrion Row has been demolished and a new building for the Civil Service is to be constructed there. As the former building, dating from the 1970s, abuts the Huguenot cemetery, monitoring was required to ensure that groundworks did not impact on the cemetery. No finds or features of archaeological significance were disturbed in the work.
