Monitored topsoil-stripping was carried out on 27 May 2005 at a development site to consist of a house with associated percolation area and shed in Coolmine, Saggart, Co. Dublin. The area is adjacent to a mound site, of which there are no visible standing remains. A 25m buffer zone was created from the external perimeter of the mound site to any construction or landscaping works. No archaeological deposits or features were uncovered.
