Monitoring in advance of a housing development at 2 Hall Street, Donaghcloney, took place on 9–21 February 2005. The site consisted of both greenfield and an area previously developed as part of an equestrian centre. All mechanical ground-breaking was conducted by means of a mechanical excavator furnished with a toothless, flat-bottomed ditching bucket. No archaeological deposits or remains were identified on site.
