The only item of archaeological significance uncovered was the line of a millrace that can be seen on the early-edition OS maps. Other than this, there were only two artefacts of any archaeological significance recovered during monitoring. These were two pieces of worked flint, Late Mesolithic in date, found in the topsoil.
