This proposed single-house development at Lower Castlevennon Road, Co. Down, was within 40m of a small circular enclosure visible from aerial photographs. It straddles the townlands of Ballyoolymore and Tullyorior. Four test-trenches, each measuring 2m by 30m, were excavated using a mechanical digger equipped with a toothless ‘sheugh’ bucket. No archaeological features or artefacts were uncovered.
