This site is in the vicinity of the site of the Battle of Ballynahinch (1798) and is to be developed for housing. A metal-detecting survey was undertaken across the whole of the subject field in advance of development; 84 metal artefacts were recovered but none proved to be of archaeological significance. Monitoring of topsoil-stripping was then undertaken, but no features or deposits were noted.
