The footprint of a house, access road and sewage lines located some 200m south-east of Rathmore rath (SMR 107:79), near Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, were tested by means of a series of trenches excavated by a machine fitted with a toothless bucket. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted.
