The proposed development at Kincraigy, Manorcunningham, is to consist of two detached houses, access roads and septic tanks/percolation areas. The proposed development sites are located within the zone of archaeological potential for a recorded monument. The site inspection revealed no evidence whatsoever of any standing remains. Nine trenches were excavated across the site, focusing upon the locations of the proposed houses, accesses and septic tank/percolation areas. All of the trenches measured 10m long and 1.2m wide. There was no evidence of any archaeological activity on the site.
