An assessment with testing was undertaken in September 2005 on a development located within the zone of archaeological potential for SMR 32:107(01–05), which includes a bridge, graveyard, St Senach’s Church, a grave-marker and architectural fragment at Newberry, Mallow. Four trenches were excavated to the level of natural subsoil; no archaeological features were excavated.
