Test-trenching was carried out in advance of the construction of a house, garage and associated site works at Meenagloghrane, Cullen. The site is located within the zone of archaeological potential for a fulacht fiadh. Four test-trenches were excavated. They ranged in length from 10 to 20m and were 1.5m wide. Nothing of an archaeological nature was noted during the testing.
