Six test-trenches were machine-excavated on a site at Gortanimill, Reananerree, which is in the environs of a multiple stone circle. Boggy topsoil was removed to a depth of c. 0.2–0.3m. Beneath the topsoil, rock was encountered. No archaeological finds or features were noted in the trenches.
