An assessment with testing was undertaken in July 2005 at a proposed development of four houses at Dromahane, Mallow, partially located within the zone of archaeological potential for a ringfort, SMR 32:114(01), with two possible souterrains, 32:114(02, 03). Eight trenches were excavated and no archaeological features were recorded.
