Test-trenching was carried out before construction of an apartment building at Church Bay/Camden Road, Crosshaven village. The stratigraphy on the proposed development site consisted of a topsoil layer, containing modern inclusions, overlying the shale-rich natural subsoil. There were no archaeological features or finds recorded during testing at this site.
