A test excavation was carried out as part of an assessment of a site at Churchtown, Mallow, Co. Cork. The development consisted of the construction of a single dwelling. The site was located within the archaeological zone of potential for a ringfort. Four trenches were excavated, none of which produced any archaeological finds or features.
