An assessment was undertaken at a site in Adrigole on the Beara Peninsula. The developer sought permission to construct four dwelling houses. The site is adjacent to a graveyard (SMR 116:4). Six trenches were excavated on the footprint of the house foundations, access road and percolation areas. The topsoil, where it existed, was 0.05–0.15 m deep and overlay bedrock. No archaeological features or artefacts were recorded.
