A concentration of pits and post-holes (one of which contained Bronze Age pottery) measuring on average 0.3m long and 0.3m wide were found here on the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road scheme. These features lay c. 1.3m below modern ground level and within a 5m2 area. They originally lay in a natural hollow, and later ground-levelling attempts accounted for the topsoil accumulation. Post-medieval drainage features were also found in this area.
