A group of possible pits and post-holes was identified at this location during Contract 3 testing on the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road scheme. One of these was half-sectioned and was found to be at least 0.5m deep, but no diagnostic artefacts or dating evidence was recovered from its fill. The remaining features in this group were not sectioned, but were left for the resolution phase of work.
