A possible metalled surface was identified during Contract 3 testing on the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road scheme, close to the present stream course in this townland and in an area of reclaimed former wetland. This feature may be associated with access to the edge of the former wetland or pond edge. No finds or diagnostic dating evidence were recovered from this feature, but its full extent was not exposed during testing.
