Monitoring was undertaken in response to planning conditions. The site contains the remains of a probable ring-ditch visible from aerial photographs, SMR 7:67. Testing was previously undertaken by Mary Henry (Excavations 2004, No. 86, 04E1661). A curvilinear gully with an estimated diameter of 15m was uncovered. Monitoring of groundworks in 2005 partially uncovered a 20m-wide enclosure encircled by a 2m-wide ditch with an entrance to the east. It is likely that this is the remains of the monument. The area of the enclosure was fenced off from construction works, although full excavation will be necessary, as it is situated in an area of construction impact.
