Randomly distributed pits and possible post-holes were found centred on the above grid reference during Contract 3 testing on the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road scheme. Extensive quarrying and levelling of a sand and gravel mound in the centre of this field probably removed other associated features. There were numerous cultivation furrows and a north-west-oriented levelled boundary ditch. No structure or pattern could be recognised in the arrangement of these features, but it is possible that they represent prehistoric activity, perhaps associated with adjacent sites A021/062 (see No. 64, Excavations 2005) or A021/064 (see No. 66, Excavations 2005).
