This area is situated to the north of earthwork site SMR 12:12 and is separated from that site by a modern field boundary. The features identified here during Contract 3 testing on the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road scheme may be related to those on A021/057 (see No. 58, Excavations 2005) for that reason. A north–south-oriented ditch containing disarticulated animal bone and a number of pits were also identified. However, sample excavation of these features did not provide any diagnostic dating evidence, and no recognisable structure or pattern was identified in their arrangement.
