An impact assessment of a proposed single-house development was requested. The proposed development area lay within the area of constraint for SMR 13:65 (‘Urns found AD 1853’) and 13:69 (a holy well) and adjacent to the areas of constraint for 13:67 (an earthwork site), 13:68 (an earthwork site), 13:71 (a ring-barrow site) and 13:66 (a holy well). Three test-trenches were excavated by machine within the development area. The site had been partially quarried and ploughed in recent years and nothing of archaeological interest was noted.
