Testing revealed several features of archaeological significance in the south-west area of the site: a disturbed souterrain and two small pits in the access lane. The pits had previously been discovered by the EHS during testing (unlicensed) in 2003. These features were recorded and covered with geotextile material and backfilled as per the agreed programme of works. No other features of archaeological significance were uncovered.
