Monitoring was undertaken, on behalf of the Regeneration of South Armagh Group, to ensure that archaeologically significant deposits were not disturbed when installing an interpretative panel at Armagh Franciscan Friary. A small quantity of 17th-century pottery was recovered from a superficial deposit within a small trench located 8m to the north-west of the standing remains of the friary. No other archaeologically significant deposits were disturbed.
