It is proposed to construct a carpark and access route at Ardclinis Old Church, Garron Road, Waterfoot. Prior to construction works commencing, an archaeological assessment of the site was conducted. The assessment revealed the remains of a burnt spread of 19th-century date. The spread measured c. 3m by 2m and had a maximum thickness of 0.05m. No further archaeological deposits were identified during the course of the assessment.
