Five test-trenches in total were excavated across two proposed development sites. The site of Dundermot Church is located on the summit of the nearby Drumnacross Hill to the west, while the site of a holy well is located immediately to the east. In addition there is a possible graveyard located in the direct vicinity of the proposed developments. No finds or features of archaeological significance were uncovered in any of the trenches.
