A graveyard and souterrain (SMR 9:46) are recorded as being located in the immediate vicinity of the proposed development site. Testing was undertaken at the site in advance of the construction of a single house. Six trenches, totalling c. 70m in length, were excavated across the development area. No archaeological remains or deposits were identified during the excavation of the test-trenches.
