Testing was undertaken in advance of the construction of a house at Newtown, Hollywood, Co. Wicklow. The site is to the immediate north of a partially destroyed ringfort (SMR 9:11). Five trenches were excavated by both machine and hand within the site. No features or finds of archaeological interest were uncovered.
