Test-trenching was carried out as part of the planning schedule for a housing development adjacent to the medieval settlement of Taghmon (SMR 41:8). A series of trenches were excavated by mechanical digger at the house sites, road network and ancillary works. No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed.
