An assessment took place of this site, which lies some 250m north of Rathwire motte (SMR 20:125) and immediately across the road from wayside crosses (SMR 20:135). A single-storey communal dwelling was proposed for the site, with associated parking and landscaping. Four trenches tested the footprint of the house. Nothing of archaeological significance was exposed during testing.
