Testing was carried out on 2 November 2004 for the construction of two dwelling houses, septic tanks and percolation areas located on a greenfield site at Corbetstown, Killucan. The development is near a church, which is located 150m to the north-east. Four trenches were opened using a track machine with a 1m flat toothless bucket. Nothing of an archaeological nature was encountered.
