Testing by Dave Pollock in 2000 (Excavations 2000, No. 1003) uncovered the remains of the glasshouse at this site. Two further test-trenches were excavated in December 2003 (Excavations 2003, No. 1925) and another two in 2004. No archaeological features or deposits were encountered in the trenches.
