A test excavation was carried out at a site at Main Street, Lismore, Co. Waterford. The site is within the zone of archaeological potential for the historic town of Lismore (SMR 21:19). The development consisted of the renovation of a 19th-century building and a number of extensions. Three trenches were excavated in the yard to the rear of the building. No archaeological finds or features were uncovered during the excavation.
