Further to a request from Waterford County Council, an assessment was undertaken on a house site at Currabaha, Dungarvan. Three test-trenches were excavated on the footprint of the house, entranceway and percolation area within the zone of archaeological potential of a ringfort. The topsoil averaged 0.4m in depth. A field boundary, removed since 1904, was recorded in Trench 1. The cut of the ditch was rounded, with a sharp break of slope at the top. No archaeological stratigraphy or finds were uncovered in the test-trenches.
