Monitoring of groundworks was undertaken in association with the construction of an access roadway associated with a harbour development at Terryglass. The development is located within the zone of archaeological potential for a castle and a holy well, 'St Augh's Well'. Nothing of archaeological significance was recorded during the monitoring works.
